Nokia N9 is the only smartphone which run on the MeeGo Operating system. The expected release date of the smartphone is in October. Vodafone will be the exclusive seller of the high end smartphone.
Nokia N9 has a stunning 3.9 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with the display resolution of 480*854 pixel. The internal memory is 16/64GB which offers a free space for data storage. But there is no home button like there is on a Droid or iPhone, the device is controlled by touch gesture. It is powered by 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor, PowerVR SGX530 GPU along with TI OMAP 3630 chipset.
Nokia N9 offers a 8 megapixel camera and comes with Carl Zeiss optics, auto-focus, dual LED Flash, Geo-tagging, face detection & Touch-focus. There is a secondary VGA camera for video calling. The dimension of the mobile phone is 116.5*61.2*12.1 mm and the weight is around 135 gram. The handset is running on MeeGo v1.2 Hamilton Operating system which is advanced or powerful.
