Nokia to release N8 in Market on October 1

Thursday September 09, 2010

Nokia’s new handset N8 will be available in market in October. But, the launch was delayed and now the handset will be seen from October 1 2010 as announced by Nokia.

This smartphone will be available from Carphone Warehouse, O2, Orange, Phones4u, T-Mobile, Tesco Phone Shops, Three Mobile, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone. It is featured with a 12mp camera and is based on the Symbian 3 operating system.

Nokia will give a competition to its rivals Apple and Google by introducing its N8 and forthcoming N9 in the profitable smartphone zone. A report from Morgan Stanley said that this launch from Nokia will mean that the Company is finally emerging out of its dark period.

Apple and Google’s Android operating system had taken over all markets of the developed nations through its smartphones. And on the other hand, Nokia was just left with the markets of the developing countries. It’ll also help the Company to increase its rating and target price. Not only this, there had been another report from Merrill Lynch which said that the N8 might halt the crash in Nokia's margins.
