Motorola Milestone XT720 features renewed specifications

The Motorola Milestone XT720 is predictable to put back the Droid as the flagship smartphone at the US manufacturer as the stiff quietly changed a number of essential hardware specifications that create it a bit more appealing.


The XT720 nowadays appear with an ARM-Cortex A8 SoC clocked at 720MHz with 512MB RAM rather than a 550MHz model and 256MB RAM as originally thought. The phone is expected to be approached in Europe towards the end of the month and will go head to head against the iPhone 4.


The respite of its design remains unchanged. It will be motorized by Google's Android OS 2.1, loaded with an 8-megapixel camera with a Xenon flash, a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 480x854 pixels and will sustain multi touch.
