The Android 2.4 device, the HTC Desire S is finally available now on Vodafone with the UK release date on April 8th.
Arriving in the UK next week, the follow up to the incredibly successful HTC Desire handset will be offered by the Vodafone network free of cost if the customers sign up to a two year £30 per month contract that comes included with 600 minutes every month, half a gig of data along with unlimited text messages.
As revealed at the Mobile World Congress in February, The HTC Desire S is embedded with Android 2.4 Gingerbread running on 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. It features a 3.7 inch touchscreen display along with 768 RAM.
It is loaded with 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash and 720p HD video recording capabilities alongside a front facing VGA camera.
