HTC Desire 2: Mid-Range Budgetary Smartphone Makes Your Desire Alive

HTC Desire 2 is one of the latest high-end smartphone which is a sequel to its famous HTC Desire handset. The handset runs on Google’s Android v2.3 Gingerbread operating system and powered by Qualcomm 8250 SnapDragon 1GHz processor. It is a 2G/3G phone that operates at a frequency of 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and 850, 1900. It flaunts with 4.3inches Super LCD touchscreen display and a line of capacitive keys below it. It has got brilliant high resolution of 800 x 480 pixels with a feature of multi-touch input method, accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. It comes with an internal memory of 4GB and 512MB RAM. With the inclusion of microSD and microSDHC card slot, it gives an extra room to expand its memory up to 32GB.

HTC Desire 2 comes with an excellent 8MP rear facing camera with a support for Geo tagging, image stabilization, touch-focus and digital zoom. It has the capability to shoot video at 720p at 24 frame per second. It also comes with an additional 2MP front facing camera that can be used for video calling or video conferencing purposes. If we talk about its call features, it supports hands free, caller ID, voice dialing and video calling. It is also equipped with Skype application that allows user to communicate with its friends and relatives. It offers various connectivity options including GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth v2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

As far as multimedia is concerned, HTC Desire 2 comes with in built music audio and video player that supports mainly all types of formats including MP3, AAC, WMA, WAV, M4A (Apple lossless), AMR, OGG, MIDI and MPEG4, XviD, WMV, 3GP, 3G2 respectively. It has also got stereo FM radio with RDS option.
